HAPA's Community-Based Resource Stewardship program H.A.P.A.'s CBRS Committee works with our partner organizations to support actions such as the protection of Maunakea, Pohakuloa and Makua Valleys, leadership capacity building at Waimanalo, as well as Aha Moku organizing, and fishpond restoration and Kalo planting.

Recently, HAPA joined a historic coalition for the Aloha `Āina Unity March in Waikīkī on August 9th.  This event brought out 10,000 people concerned with the management (and mismanagement) of lands in Hawai`i.

Watch the video below for a snapshot of this historic day!

The Aloha ʻĀina Unity March gathered together people from all around Hawaiʻi, standing together for the protection of our land, natural resources, and way of life. Ten thousand rallied in unity Sunday, August 9th, marching down Waikīkī and gathering at Kapiʻolani Park in support of aloha ʻāina.
