Action Alert: Good Government Reforms at Honolulu Charter Comission

The Honolulu Charter Commission is holding a public hearing on Monday, February 9th, on a number of good government reforms, including:

• Voluntary public financing program for city elections

• Restricting campaign contributions, specifically prohibiting contributions from entities holding City Contracts or Grants

• Ranked Choice Voting & Ranked Choice at Large for City and County of Honolulu

• Term Limits for County Officials 

• Prevent single-party control by changing the makeup of the reapportionment and civil service commissions
