Links to Register for Campaign Bootcamps
We're offering a one-day Campaign Skills Bootcamp designed to walk participants through the essential checklist for launching and running a campaign.
Whether you’re considering a run for office, managing a campaign, or helping as a volunteer, this workshop will help you understand what needs to happen—and in what order—to run an effective campaign.
During this session, we’ll cover the core campaign checklist, including:
• Filing requirements and compliance basics
• Setting up your campaign committee and treasury
• Building a campaign plan and timeline
• Creating campaign materials and communications
• Fundraising fundamentals
• Using voter lists and campaign data
• Organizing your groundgame (canvassing, phonebanking, texting)
We will also be joined by Tony Baldomero, formerly of the Campaign Spending Commission, to discuss the Partial Public Funding Program and how your campaign can benefit.
Space is limited, please RSVP. Lunch is provided.
You need to have a reference from a KA Alumni or HAPA Staff if you are not a KA Alumni or have not attended a KA Bootcamp before.
